About

A diterpene compound from the root of Coleus forskohlii that directly activates adenylyl cyclase, increasing intracellular cAMP levels. Preliminary clinical trials suggest forskolin may support favorable changes in body composition, particularly in overweight men.

How It Works

Directly activates adenylyl cyclase, increasing intracellular cyclic AMP (cAMP) levels. Elevated cAMP activates protein kinase A and hormone-sensitive lipase, promoting lipolysis. Also stimulates thyroid hormone production and testosterone synthesis, which may support metabolic rate.
